Laci Swann is married to her college sweetheart, mother of two, and entrepreneur. In 2016, Laci opened Sharp Editorial, an editorial + consulting + design company. The immediate success of Sharp Editorial led her to create The Modern Momtrepreneur, a virtual community of women that support one another’s business ventures, exchange advice and knowledge, and take part in amazing, exclusive events around the country.

In 2020, Laci opened a second business, powHERful leadership, in which she offers personal development advising to driven millennial women. Words are her thing, and she finds joy in helping people find their voice and express it, too. “I want to leave people better than I found them,” Laci shares. Laci is known as “the fixer,” always seeking to find solutions instead of dwelling on problems and road blocks. When she isn’t in Olivia Pope mode, Laci is traveling abroad for her husband’s career (he’s a professional basketball player) Laci and her family reside in Florida (although she swears she isn’t part of the dysfunction of the Sunshine State).

Pasta, sneakers, and Law and Order: SVU marathons are her jam, and although she appears to be an extrovert via her social media accounts, Laci prefers quiet time and, admittedly, is a bit awkward. Laci’s very best friend, her mother, passed away in 2016, and although she lost her best friend, Laci’s mother’s battle with cancer changed her faith and perspective. Laci aims to seize every day to the fullest, leave worries at the door, eat, love, and be merry.
